Old Kilpatrick sits under the Erskine Bridge and on the banks of the River Clyde on the outskirts of Glasgow. Our community website was founded back in 2012 as a way of keeping the community updated on things happening around the village and surrounding areas.
The website also gives tourists and people of the internet an insight to what Old Kilpatrick looks like today and in days gone past.
We’ve been working with some of the older pupils at Gavinburn Primary and they have been trained on how to post articles, stories and projects to their dedicated news section that has been set up for for the pupils and the school – helping them get their latest news and important messages out to parents, guardians, family, friends and the people of Old Kilpatrick via our site and our social channels.
You can also visit their twitter feed where you can read all about what’s going on daily at the school and see their latest classroom photos. Check out their tweets and don’t forget to visit their website there’s lots of useful info related to the school on there!

This is an exciting time as we are giving them the responsibility of keeping us all updated to what goes on whilst they are at school, giving us all an insight to their education and what they enjoy doing at Gavinburn Primary.
